Journey to Beijing - A Personal Account

This is a personal account of my October 1994 trip to Beijing, illustrated with some of the photographs I took.
I'm not a professional writer, nor a professional traveller, so you might find it a bit rough.
However, the trip was very good value and lots of fun, so I thought I would share it.
There are plenty of guide books to tell you about the place,
so I have concentrated more on the journey and the things I learned from talking to the guides and my fellow travellers. Enjoy!
